The lone holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy case should be hailed as a hero. He withstood the pressures of the woke liberal mob, the other members of the jury.
As jurors begin speaking publicly, one thing is becoming painfully clear: most of that jury appeared determined to accept the insanity defense. But one juror refused to simply go along. We have the audio from multiple jurors which prove, the lone juror was pressured from the start.
It’s clear to me, the hold out juror looked at the planning. The timing. The methodical way Clancy killed her three children, one by one. Those facts mattered. They raised serious questions about the claim that she was so detached from reality that she could not understand what she was doing.
And then there is what happened afterward.
Any mother who truly believed she had committed the unforgivable would, in my view, be begging the court for accountability. “Sentence me however you see fit. I deserve it.”
Lindsay Clancy did the opposite.
She fought for an acquittal. She fought to be declared not responsible. She fought every step of the way.
One juror refused to look away from that.
Today on Stinchfield, the holdout juror who stopped a verdict, the disturbing revelations now coming from inside that jury room, and why sometimes one person standing alone is the only thing separating justice from a terrible mistake.
