As a small business man, I can tell you, people are on edge. I talk to dozens of consumers in the waiting area of my Kwik Kar Auto Care business every day. They all talk about their reluctance to spend money on items and services that can be put off until after the election. This phenomenon, the “Obama Effect,” is like a giant weight around the neck of our economy. Until it’s removed our nation will be caught in a perpetual state of stagnation. Make no mistake, Obama’s win will mean four more years of a flat lined economy.

I am convinced the current President believes in “collective misery” as a nation. He thinks if one person has to suffer than everyone should suffer with them. His desire for “collective misery” is what divides our nation. It is at the root of our philosophical differences. Liberals believe we all need to suffer, Conservatives believe we all can prosper.
